On August of 1996 the Spirit moved on the hearts of Elder E. W. and Sis Lauretta Wallace, Deacon and Deaconess Wilfred Johnson, Deacon Abron Mitchell, and Elder Eric Wallace. They all rejoiced in the spirit and obeyed the call to dedicate themselves in the unity to keep house for GOD. Remembering that GOD said that he wold add daily such as should be saved.
Having only a few members at that time, we all shared the same vision then in Oct of 1996 we took the name of New Life Primitive Baptist Church. Our first service was held on Sunday October 6 1996 at the home of Deacon and Deaconess Willfred Johnson. We rotated between the homes of Elder and Sis Michael Johnson and Deacon and Deacness Flowers for Services, weekly prayer meetings and Bible Study. We also meet at the Mill Creek Park in Mt Holly NJ. Every destination we stopped at the LORD added faithfully to the Church.
For the following six months we then worshiped at the Best Western Motel in Mt Holly, NJ Ehile there we had our Constitutin Service and our Guest Speaker was Rev. H.C. Wallace from Second Baptist Church in Bristol, PA. Meanwhile the Saints governed by the Holy Spirt began to Prophesize about the building. Deacon Johnson was given a vision of what the buildng would look like and Mother Doyle was given a word from the LORD whch stated that " We already got the BUILDING all we have to do is PICK UP THE KEYS"!!!!!!!
As we continued to Worship, Study, Fellowship and enjoy the gifts of Brotherly Love and the Willingness to feed the Homeless, visit the sick and Preach the Word of GOD we also begran to grown in membership resulting in April of 1997 moving into and renting a Church Bulilding in Hainsport NJ for several years.
In June of 1997 the Spirit move upon the heart of our Pastor Elder E. W. Wallace to recommend Elder Eric Wallace as the acting Pastor of New LIfe Primitive Baptist Church. Snce those times the LORD has Blessed theis Spirit filled man with tthe "STRENGTH" to take New Lie Primitive Baptist Church forward.
After several years in Hainsport NJ we then moved to a Library in Mr. Laurel NJ were we continued to grow, Worshiped and Praised GOD.
Throughout the years we still continued to Praise GOD, then eventually we moved here to to Burlingotn, NJ Several years after worshiping here Pastor Wallace was given a vision of a Cathederal (Cathederal meaning "BIG") It was then that New Life Primitive Baptist Church became New LIfe Cathedral
"WE MAY BE SMALL IN NUMBER BUT WE ARE HIGH IN THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD"
